WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!

Holy buckets, Batman! Did this seriously just happen? Are we going after Daunte, too? Can we pull Robert Smith out of med school?

What is the impact of this, besides for my FFL team, which may just have gotten light years better? Not that that's saying much.

For a 3rd round pick. I am all for it. Did we sign him to an extension or is his contract up at the end of this year? Either way playing to win now. Have to like it.

On a lesser note, Liriano won AL Comeback player of the year.

Fellas - I LOVE this move. There really was nothing to lose at this point, as our WR corps couldn't be any less effective right now, and we discarded any team "chemistry" with the way we handled the Favre fiasco. So...the bottom line is that we got a potentially game-changing WR for a 3rd round pick, going into a lockout year.

Word is that no extension was involved immediately, but that they may be working on something. I think the fans will 100% embrace Randy and he will feed off that. Again, I love it.

As for impact...this allows us to stretch the field a bit and give Harvin/Berrian/Camarillo/Shiancoe more opportunities to get open in the flat. Moss will generally attract attention from the safety, thereby opening up the middle. The only concern is, how quickly can he develop a rapport with Favre? Or will we just send him deep on every play?!

BTW, how stubborn are the Pats? Does Belichick really think he can win with Welker as his #1 receiver? Also, how stubborn are the packers? They could have had Marshawn Lynch for a 3rd or 4th round pick, and didn't do it. I guess Julius Jones is now available for nothing...good luck with that.

If the Twins beat the Yankees in this series, we'll know hell is officially freezing over...
