Twins and the Season Ending Schnide

So, how do we feel about these Twins since clinching? Getting all this rest for our starters better f'ing help. Not panicking but I gotta say, when you stop trying to win it's a lot easier than when you all of a sudden need to pull together again to win. I was in the corner of not taking our foot off the gas but what do I know, right?

I have to confess that I'm a bit worried. The starting pitching has been atrocious. Now, I've never pitched in the major leagues (shocking, I know), but I'm thinking starting pitchers don't necessarily take their foot off the gas, do they? If that's true, then I'm really worried. If the starting pitchers have been on cruise control, then I won't stress.

I'd like to see Gardy play to win the next three, just to get us back into the flow.

I will be there on Friday night. My maiden voyage to the Bullseye. Can't wait.

BG - Honestly, I would take you in the starting rotation right now. If LH were still allowed by his corporate overlords to look at this blog I would take him too (he once looked up on the internet how to throw a circle change then went out to a ballyard and tried it with varying degrees of success.)

Have fun at the Bullseye, send pictures.

I hope the headlines read "Season ending stinkers long forgotten as Twins roll in ALDS."

Dudes -

Been too busy to pay attention in detail, but saw scores rolling across the bottom of the TV at various points in the last week. I don't care about losing a bunch of games in the immediate aftermath of clinching the division - it's a long season and that's the culmination of a lot of pressure. It's giving up 10 runs like 5 games in a row that worries me a bit. I'll try to not pay attention until the playoffs start next week.

PS - rumor is Lovie Smith has, in fact, sold his soul to Satan. No way that team's 3-0 good. The Packers handed them that game, and the refs and rulebook handed them the Detroit game. I hope the Vikes have their shit figured out by the time the Bears roll around and we expose them.

PPS - when do they fire Brewster?

PPPS - remember that movie "Multiplicity" with Michael Keaton? I'm ready for that technology to be here.

First and foremost congrats MCA. I would expect this to be the end of your FFL team's chances this year.

I returned to Atlanta from the happiest place on earth last night. Other suitable names for Disney World:

The whitest place on earth. If you take out the people that are obviously there from abroad, it is like 99% white.

One of the fattest places on earth. When I can no longer walk due to my girth, just roll me into the ocean for the fish to nibble on. I believe that is called the circle of life.

The cleavage-iest place on earth. I swear there were times where I was seeing 3 generations of upper boobies flopping around. Anyone opposed to the Katy Perry Sesame Street clip should avoid Disney World at all costs (I am not one of those people). Also maybe I have not been getting out to the mall enough, like anytime in the last 5-10 years, but fat teenage girls really have no shame about showing a ton of skin. I weep for the future.

There has definitely been a coup. Princess and pirates have overthrown Mickey for control of the castle.
