Vikes are 12.5% thru the 2010 campaign and fall to 0-2.
The issue here is not whether Brett threw a few interceptions or made a few bad plays, he did. But you can't hold a whole team responsible for the behavior of a few players for if you do then shouldn't we blame the whole organization? And if the whole organization is guilty then isn't this an indictment of football in general? I put it to you, Greg, isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? You can do what you want to Brett, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you bad mouth the United States of America!

I did not see a minute of the game. I heard from a Dolphins from fan we had 4th and 1 at the goal line and did not get it with AP. If all of that is true, the Vikes did not deserve to win the game. Also if a team gives up a blocked punt deep in their territory, a pick 6 and 100 yard kickoff return for TD all in the first half, they do not deserve to win that game either.

If our defense holds a team's offense to 1 TD, we should win. The Vikes offense is completely out of synch. Our O-line is awful, and Favre isn't mobile enough anymore to work his magic, especially when no one is open (looking at you, Bernard Berrian).
Also, while I believe that we should be able to punch it in from the 1, why not run some play action? Shiancoe is clearly our best receiver at this point...
Ugh. So awful...and the schedule is brutal after the bye week.
RTS - tough loss for the Hawks. I was pulling for them in a room full of Pac Ten fans. Stanzi's magic fairy dust finally ran out. How does he allow himself to get sacked on THREE straight plays to end the game?

Sorry, just a comment on the Twins for a second (out of line from this post but whatever) - watching sportscenter this morning, on the left hand side they were ticking down their stories, saw "Twins/Indians" was due next, waited around and then 'poof' they just never did the highlights, never mentioned it, just went passed it.

They do that all the time! It kills me, as I'm really watching just to get Twins highlights. I guarantee they never just skip over Yankees highlights...
BTW - did I read the magic number correctly? Two? So, we could clinch tonight?!?
