Great idea, Jan. Let's just turn this into a music blog.

I like Mumford, although they come off a little too earnest at times. Seeing them on youtube threw me for a loop because I've been picturing the singer as Rufus Sewell (the actor) all this time based on the accent. "The Cave" is a pretty solid song, too.

Other new stuff worth a listen...

For Jan: Sharon Van Etten - mesmerizing voice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsjM25eSkEY&feature=related

For BG: Dawes - not a huge fan of the band, but I just discovered this song and love it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0FrcTX6hWI&feature=related

For RTS: seeing as how you're an Atlantan now, I suppose you're already aware of Janelle Monae, but if not you need to be. She's like Prince, James Brown and David Bowie rolled into one ubertalented package and backed by BigBoi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwnefUaKCbc

Also, anyone heard the new Sufjan Stevens yet? Thoughts?
