Why are we playing another day game today?
Seriously, why are playing a day game today?
The blog formerly about a daily dose of mostly Minnesota sports rants and raves with a sprinkling of general sports commentary and a pinch of jaded-malaise regarding the world around us

This schedule with the Tigers makes no sense, day game today, night game tomorrow, day game Saturday and day game Sunday.

Yeah, sounds like Wrigley, not Comerica.
Y'all were clamoring for a little respect/press in another entry, so thought I'd post this one.

Pretty evenhanded, generally agrees with the smoke and mirrors verdict, but also makes the case that there's a chance we continue to compete within the fractured, upside down, pretty weak division.
I hadn't been following Liriano that closely, but it sounds like he's getting pretty close.

Wow...good coverage of our guys. It's been a while since it's taken me 5 full minutes to read anything about the Twins in the national media. Like MCA said, the only thing I really learned, however, is that Liriano may be close to ready, and we've got another pitcher at Rochester who could provide some relief.
BTW, if had Neshek, there is no way we lose that 6-5 game in Boston.
Oh yeah...leave it to the republicans to potentially screw this team over by making them hit the road for 15 days.
