Vikings 2010 - A Year to Forget

File the season under "Shitty."

Vikes finish last in the NFC Norris, first time since the early 1990's that has happened. To add to the crapiness is that the Packers go to the playoffs (I think the Bears are gonna regret losing that one.)

Ok. Gather yourselves, it's a long offseason and then we can start gearing up for the 2011 Vikings season. I predict great things, great things.

Awful! Just awful! The double-whammy of the packers getting in today, and the Bears having a first-round bye is almost too much to take. I'm with you, Jan, I think the Bears will regret losing today, although I have to give Lovie some credit for playing his starters all game.

The only silver lining is that we'll have the "easy" last place schedule next year, for what that's worth.

Oh - I had dinner with LH last night here in LA. He and Mrs. LH have finally taken the plunge and purchased a "home" computer, so he claims he'll be diving back into FTLOSBW in 2011 (since it's blocked at work).

Enough with the negativity. This is poised to be the greatest week in FTLOSBW history! We've got gamblor clinching a winning season after mowing through the bowl games. And of course, beloved hero, Bert's election to the HOF on Wednesday.

Funny, I think I know who Anonymous is: He hates Blyleven, puts lots of stock in "Wins" for MLB pitchers (he would NEVER have handed King Felix the Cy this year considering his lowly 13 victories despite a 2.27 ERA), and can't admit he's wrong.

He also considers himself quite the prognosticator - I remember him loudly scoffing at me a couple years ago when I said I thought the Vikes would beat the Cards in Arizona (final - Vikes 35, Cards 14.)

So, you're right Anonymous - a great week in FTLOSBW - congrats to Gamblor and good luck to Bert!
