The blog formerly about a daily dose of mostly Minnesota sports rants and raves with a sprinkling of general sports commentary and a pinch of jaded-malaise regarding the world around us

Revised Title to Below Post:

To: Dave Golokhov of "askmen.com": It is better to say nothing and be thought a fool than to write an article for Fox Sports and remove all doubt.

Ok, I feel better now knowing that the guy who wrote this article works for Ask.Men, thanks for pointing that out MCA.

He might be qualified to tell us not to pair black shoes with a brown belt, but he shouldn't write about sports.

Wait, you shouldn't wear black shoes with a brown belt?!?!?

I just went on Askmen.com and "asked men" about wearing black shoes with a brown belt. Below is a snippet from the article that popped up, while the author was a man, the response seems like he may play for the other team (Luke, I'm not talking about him playing for the Cleveland Indians either) or maybe that's just how it sounded in my head when I read it with an implied lisp.

"Black shoes paired with a brown belt turned out to be the number three turn-off on our survey of fashion no-no's . Just think of the color combination. First, there are black shoes (hopefully black socks too). Then you add another color, like blue or khaki pants. So now you've got two colors. To this potential rainbow, add the infamous brown belt. Then add the color of whatever sweater you plan to wear. This generates quite an unflattering combination of colors.

If you know karate, you know the brown belt is a step down from black. Is it a coincidence? No, black is powerful . So just wear the powerful black belt with black shoes. BLACK with BLACK. BROWN with BROWN. It is as simple as that. Please follow this simple tip, it makes a world of difference."

What episode of What Not To Wear does this guy think I am on?

Seems like this article has gotten around a bit, and has caught the attention of a few mainstream blogs:

He spend an inordinate amount of time on the Twins...love it. My favorite part:

"You know who didn't make it as far as the $41m Twins that year? The $132m Yankees, or the $108m Red Sox, or the $105m Rangers, or the $103m DBacks, or the $101m Dodgers. And this means the Twins are a bad franchise?

Congratulations! That is bone-dumb."
