When do you become what you are parodying?

Chuck, holy f'ing shizma! ! ! Dude. Wow. I know the mustache was part of a bet you told me about but with the glasses, the hat, and the shirt you look like you just got out of your Ford F-150 (that is if you are a Ford guy) with the gun rack with your 'woman' and a couple ankle-bitters in tow.

Nice work. Georgia - it's fantastic!

DUDE! I am laughing out loud at work. This is flat-out AMAZING! Save this picture for Annie to show at her rehearsal dinner in 27 years or so.

No f-ing way! Unlike, say, Wasser, who went to a monster truck rally with his girlfriend a few months ago, but wore his Kenneth Coles and German glasses and laughed most of the time, thereby signalling to anyone concerned that he was there strictly for the ironic humor in it all, I think you've crossed the threshhold. If you traveled there and/or stayed overnight in an RV, the transition is complete.

Well done - hope you enjoyed your Applebee's Trio after the race, and you're revved up to vote for McCain this fall.

Just a few words reagrding the costume, the picture and the scene:

The hat- the previous year I had forgoten a hat and was forced to buy one. I have no favorite driver and all the hats were terrible anyway. I choose the worst hat I could find, the yellow gray and white Nascar camoflage you see pictured.

The mustache- One of the organizers of the trip put together a mustache growing contest. This was the only time in my life I have had facial hair.

The shirt- Purchased on eBay for the mustache growing contest.

The Elvis sunglasses- I wear those daily.

The track- Yes, we stay in an RV parked in the very first row. The best analogy I can make is it is like the frat that can lure girls in just by it's location. The top is customized to be a skydeck, so it is more like a boat than standing on the roof. We have a beer pong table and the corn hole game going most of the weekend. We eat like kings; I ate 7 different animals this year. And finally the brush with fame, if a person were to stop by durning the race, they would be able to rub elbows with Ricky Rachtman formerly of MTV Head Bangers Ball. The drinking and the male bonding is really what I like, it is not the race that I go for.

However as much as I can discount the items in the picture, the fact that I have been multiple years in row speaks loads. While the races are secondary, NASCAR is still making money off me and to all the girls in "Titty City" as the infiled is known, they think the costume is real. As I laugh at other people, they laugh at me and therefore I agree I have become what I am mocking.
