Did Hell freeze over?

Did the Vikes' really put up 42 points today (on the heels of 41 last week?)?!? I didn't see the game, but the statistics would suggest that T-Jack played a pretty solid game and "managed" the offense well (as Childress and other head coaches like to say). Also, huuuuuuuuuuuge sigh of relief to know that Purple Jesus is still potent, even when wearing a knee brace three weeks after an injury.

Did anyone actually see this game? Are we as good as the score indicates, or are the Lions simply regressing to "the same old Lions, whose fans will be chanting "FI-RE MIL-LEN" again next week.

Watched the game basking in the glowing warmth of my new flat screen (it is magic, pure magic.) I was totally wrong in saying All Day should be kept on the sidelines one more game, I admit it, I was too overcautious. Basically AP was terrific, his 115 rushing yards or whatever were spread over 15 carries with none of those carries being a huge play (ie the 60 yard kind); the kid just ran hard, period. It is kind of nuts to have Chester Taylor split carries, it's a one two punch that is tough to stop. Not that T-Jac is done maturing but honestly he threw a crisp ball, made decisions well, and managed the game and offsense well. He is 6 and 2 as a vikings starter. Now to the Lions, oh sorry, God's Team. They are fraud's. Roy Williams was hurt but they abandoned the running game before they stepped foot in the metrodome. After the Vikes went up by 2 scores the Lions gave up.

I was going to post the same thing - we've now crushed two playoff teams and the Lions in the last month. Let's not forget that we crapped the bed against the Pack in that same time frame, of course, but there seems to be reason to feel a little optimism for the future. Our offensive line is destroying people.

That move where AP made a Lions linebacker look like a drunk trying to catch a rabbit with his bare hands (the second TD) was evil.1

Yeah...the AP highlights were ridonkulous. Wait, T-Jack is 6-2 as a starter?!?!? That is insane! I hesitate to schedule-surf, but our next four games are: at SF (3-9, I will be there), CHI (5-7), WASH (5-7) and at DEN (5-7). No absolute gimmes, but no Indy's or Green Bay's in there either. First task at hand is to DESTROY the Niners this week. After suffering through the 9-3 debacle last year, I deserve more this year.

Assuming you weren't a Lions fan in the 50's, it has been a painfull existance. This is good for a few laughs:

I was unable to witness the Vikings thrashing yesterday as the Falcons/Rams game was far to compelling (sarcasm font). All on board the A-P Train.
