Finally, some good news?
Sounds like this is not a "binding" agreement, and that it could go POOF in 13 days, but I'm just happy there has finally been some action on the issue. Also, it's fun to see some competition for the right to build this new potential stadium. I'm not exactly sure where Arden Hills is, to be honest, but it's not San Antonio or L.A., which is the important thing. I just hope Dayton actually spent some time drumming up the votes he's going to need to kick in the State's portion of the bill, because it sounds like Ramsey county is ready to roll.

Oh, and Minneapolis is #1 in something (moderately NSFW, but generally clean, since it's from the Daily Show):

Talk around town is that the hurdle is the infrastructure that needs to be built out in Arden Hills (btw - I don't really know where it is either) is gonna be the sticking point. The Minneapolis deal that Rybak put on the table yesterday included $100 M out of $900M to go towards renovating the Target Center. Let me guess which way Zygi is gonna go...
I'm gonna say this gets passed somehow in the legislature and is the only bright spot to our Vikings and Twins season this year.
P.S. Hail and tornado sirens at FTLOSBW 612 HQ last night. Exciting.
