Vikes/Cowboys Notes
1. Sport's Guy is the latest in basically everyone taking the Cowboys. Haven't read a full Simmons article in 2 years; he was highligthed on ESPN.com's front page with apparently something to say, guess what, he didn't say anything.
2. I'm excited to have this game. I'm excited to sit down on Sunday, for round 2 of the playoffs, and watch us play to go to the NFC Championship Game. I like us. I like us a lot. It's fun to like us a lot.
3. Someone once said: "More fun to be all in than holding chips for that next hand that may never come."
4. I'd like to imagine the members of FTLOSBW on bar stools somewhere, watching this game together as a united front. I'll settle for DTK on the couch next to me in my basement.

You'll be glad to know that BG is planning on viewing at Casa MCA Sunday, so all we need to do now is have rts fly cross-country to hang with LH and we'll be all set.

RTS- why don't you just give me a call when you get to LAX and I'll pick you up... you've got my number right? I know I've given it to you before....
This is a big game for us this weekend. I think we should all just take a moment and give thanks to the things that we're thankful for- I for one am thankful for: AP,CT,NT,SR,BB,PH,VS,BM,SH,JS,AH,PL,DR,JK,JA,RE,KW,PW,JB,CG,BL,CG,AW,BS,MW and yes, even BF.
Go Vikes.. makes us proud

LH- it is now 9:30 Friday night. I have tried every number combo for the first 3 digits only 4 digits to go. I am working under the assumption that the area code was correct. This has been a lot of rejection but if it works out for a Vikes win it is well worth it. In the movie Puddle Cruiser a guy is shorted one number by a chick and he goes through every combo. In the end he gets the date but she does not put out. I expect a little something.

RTS, I think you know me a little bit better than to ask that I give out a little something... I didn't get through school because of my rugged good looks if that's what you think.
RTS, Todd and I will be kicking field goals in my backyeard before the game.. we'd go to Todd's but the police are expecting hm there.... go vikes

I think i burst a blood vessel in my mind getting ready for this game.
When i was a kid, i used to go kick field goals in my back yard before viking games with my friend Todd. i wont use his last name because he's currently managing a stop and shop while on parole, and for some reason, i think he holds a grudge against me. I don't know for what. He had a lot of anger control issues stemming from a broken home and his alcoholic father who dabbled in domestic violence. I once watched him pull a knife on Dan Luffelholz. Todd, not his dad. He never stabbed him, but I think he would have. Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, I remember those days as some of my happiest because for those few hours, it's all we had to do. The Vikings were the only thing that mattered, and frankly when you're 12, thats about all there is, and about all you need. I feel a little like that right now. For the next 28 hours, i don't think there's anything on earth that matters more than the Minnesota Vikings.
I might go kick some field goals in Jan's back yard. Also, LH, I gave Todd your cell number.
