Our View of the Crash (Turn the volume off)

One of the guys I was with caught the first crash on his phone. It is a bit of a different view than the TV one I posted. It seemed a lot slower playing out at the race. Yes, the guy in front is wearing a sleaveless Dick Trickle shirt.

RTS - Kudos for the post, not just because of the unreal footage (wow, lucky with your seats, huh?) but that you were able to post the video to the blog. Did your buddy put it on CNN ireport or is it a scoop for FTLOSBW?

Love the exclusive, RTS. Some day, I'd love a play-by-play from one of your NASCAR weekends. Probably unlike anything I've ever seen.

In terms of the Vikes draft, I am feeling an unusual sense of contentment. We filled needs. Bottom line. Harvin was a risky pick, but so was Randy Moss. My only worry with him is not the weed, but the fact that he seems to play more of a Reggie Bush position than true WR, and the last thing we need is another RB. Here is what Mike Florio from ProFootballTalk.com had to say:

"Childress goes all in.

Make no mistake about this one. The Vikings might have made a big mistake picking receiver Percy Harvin in round one.

He proved at the Scouting Combine that he loves marijuana more than he loves football. Otherwise, he wouldn't have tested positive for pot in Indianapolis. So now the question becomes whether he'll file for a divorce from Mary Jane in time to save his career.

But while plenty of teams had pulled Harvin from their draft boards, the Vikings were willing to pull the trigger. The reason is clear: Childress knows that, absent a big year in 2009, he might not be back for 2010."

Welcome back, high expectations!!
