TCF Bank Stadium

The stadium is really coming along. Check out the slide show linked below. Hard to believe the Twin Cities will have two new, state-of-the-art stadiums open in the next year. Call me a homer, but this thing looks really classy. Definitely seems to have more character than the average college "bowl."

It is pretty cool that the stadia (is that right?) are coming along as they are and we'll have 2 of them next year. Tons of character.

They did a thingy on the news last night about the company in Golden Valley that is doing all the signs for the U (scoreboard, parking, bathrooms etc.) it was pretty cool. Lame I know but cool.

Is it just me, or does that scoreboard look HUGE?

MCA leave it to Wikipedia -

"scoreboard will be the second largest in college football, and the fifth largest in the nation for all college and professional sports venues"

The Twins "scoreboard will be the fourth-largest in Major League Baseball."

I plan on being on that field after the Gophers upset USC...possibly around 2056.
