Yeah, the lack of half-court offense is totally perplexing. One of the many issues is that Hoffarber and Westbrook both lost their touch at the same time, so they are afraid to shoot. It's crazy...I've never seen guys pass up more open 20 footers.
Joe Lunardi (who is shockingly accurate) still has them in the tourney as a #9 seed, but predicted that they'd play themselves out by March. Ouch. I have no evidence to contradict that right now...
Mr. BG blames the slow starts each game, which he believes are a by-product of starting BOTH Iverson and Sampson (both of whom are slow, not to mention, raw).
