The White Sox are killing us. Did we just hand them the Central this weekend? They're averaging more points against the Twins than the Bears do against the Vikes.
Yuck.

Seriously, if this isn't a huge role reversal...don't we usually crush their souls with weekends like this? Did we really give up 30+ runs in three games? Either our pitching is really in shambles, or Ozzie's latest tirade lit a fire under those guys. We went from contenders to pretenders in one weekend.

We have now lost 10 of the last 13 to the south siders. Does anyone own the Twins more than Joe Crede?

It was like the Twins split that series with the Yankees and everyone thought we had just won the World Series and stopped trying.
This had the makings of putting the dagger in the heart of the White Sox. Ozzie had just gone on his latest tirade (I use to like Ozzie, after the last outburst I find him cliche) we were coming to town 1.5 games back if we took 3 of 4 you know Kenny Williams and Ozzie would have had to make some sort of desperate move.
But what happens? We shrink from the competition and essentially give the Sox the division.
I wouldn't pitch to Crede anymore. Seriously. He is the new Thome.

Is this the point where we officially give up and stop caring. Ironically, I had said that if we were still contending June 15th, I would start to get excited. File that one away, I guess.

I just saw on Sportscenter that Ken Griffey Jr has 38 homers vs the Twins. Since they singled out the Twins I would assume that is the most he has against one team. I know this is not related to the current Twins woes, but it is negative vibes so I thought it fit.
