Thank you, Sal Paolantonio

Finally, someone in the media willing to admit that maybe...just maybe...Favre has been a slight bit overrated over the past 10 years.

That's tremendous. The most surprising, and sad, thing to me is how much Paolantonio then gets bashed on in the comments. The amount of rationalization going on over there is shocking. "How dare you point out his stats for last 10 years? He's simply the greatest, and if you can't see that, you're a moron. I hope when you retire someone writes a column about all your faults, too" is about the level of analysis you get from Puckers in the comments.

This was great.. we all know that he's been overrated for the last at least...let me see, how long was his careeer again?

He gets mad props for his consecutive game streak- I mean, that was amazing given the kind of hits that he took from the kind of guys (300lb + roided up monsters) that he took them from- certainly proves that he played through pain and he was a hard-ass on the field. And he was one of the better quarterbacks that ever played the game...you don't throw that many touchdowns without being suprememly talented, but he's certiainly not up there with Montana, Elway, or Kramer.

Nice...Kramer. Talk about a guy who played through pain. Can you imagine some of the Excedrin headaches that guy must have had after a Saturday night at whatever the predecessor to Joe Senser's was?

I loved Joe Sensers... the originally one, over by Rosedale- not any of the later developments (at least I think that was the original one- if it wasn't, it should have been). I don't think I never saw Kramer there....of course I would have been about 12 during his heydey and I really didn't drink that much back then. I did shoot pool there with Chad Kolander once, and that was pretty cool.

My first guess as to who Chad Kolander was that he was a kid I wrestled from South which would not have been that great of a name drop. After googling him, I now do remember him.

Rosedale? With the exception of Luke, could anyone else on here drive to Rosedale with out needing a quick refresher on directions?

It took little Sal P. to say that the emperor wears no clothes. Great analysis, I love it when people back up their arguments with facts and figures; takes the "I saw him throw a 65 yard bomb to Donald Driver that was awesome" out of it.

RTS, I live in Minneapolis and could not find Rosedale if you spotted me the "take 35W North."
