MCA - praise Jebus! I haven't been this excited about Vikings football since the clubbing of the Cowboys in the playoffs in 2009. Holy fuck! Now we can at least fuck the goat (yes, I'm going with fuck the goat) in a first class facility!

Jan, DTK and I dined in SF last week, and we agreed that this was, by far, the best development in MN sports since we destroyed the Cowboys in the playoffs.
All I have to say is: thank god. Some day, I want a populace to stick it to a billionaire owner, but I just didn't want it to be the MN populace. WE needed this stadium more than any other team in the league (except maybe the Chargers/Jags).

Rams. For the record, I never actually believed the Vikings would be allowed to move to Los Angeles before SD, Jax or St. Lou. The league wouldn't let it happen - too much history where they are, too good a market, too little history for the Rams in St. Louis and the Jags generally. And if you think the Metrodome was a crappy situation, you should hear the descriptions of the lease for that Edward Jones place. Talk about a team having a checkmate on the landlord.
