The Purple: Goodbye to a Mope and a Dope

Questions:

1. Does Randy go in as a Viking? Do you care? We kinda reviewed his career when he came back to the Vikes last year (yeah, that actually happened, remember?) so I don't think he deserved some sort of FTLOSBW "Ode to Str8 Cash, Homey."

2. Fat-ass McKinnie dumped, where does he rank on the list of "Dumbest Minnesota Athletes"? If he underachieved anymore you'd think he was a Twin. I, for one, say goodbye and don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you. Also, cheers to Leslie Frasier for taking a stand, I like it.

I don't exactly know how the NFL chooses their people HOFers, but I do not think we have to worry about Randy being in there anytime soon. He has the stats that is not debatable. I do think that he will be remembered as much for taking plays off, not living up to his full potential and in general being a punk. I think they will put him on the back burner until it gets to the point where people start saying "How is he not in the hall yet?" That is going to take some time.

Who is going to take Mount's spot?

i like the mcnabb thing more and more. and i think it's time this organization sends people like mckinney on their way. he has been totally inconsistent for several years and a total underachiever. we don't need any more cancers around here. though, i'd take a cancer in remission if he could block the backside.

Looks like the Vikes signed the Colts' starting Left Tackle from the past couple years. Based on how little Peyton Manning gets sacked, I think that bodes well for McNabb.

McKinnie will be remembered mainly for being one of the prime instigators on the Al and Alma's Love Boat. I think that's when his career peaked.
