All this Tubby talk got a little tiresome...but the reality is, allegedly, that Tubby really didn't talk to anyone. These rumors were all generated by the Schools, not Tubby's camp. The only way he would have bolted to Oregon is if they really did offer him $3M+ in salary. He's a mid-atlantic / southeast guy at heart, so a move to Eugene would have done nothing but take him further from home. Also, the word on the street is that he doesn't have the stomach for another rebuilding job (and the Oregon program is in the crapper). Plus, the future is bright for the Gophers. The only real sticking point is the lack of a practice facility, which keeps coming up.
On that topic, Maturi needs a f-ing tutorial in messaging and positioning...both of which are probably covered in Marketing 101 class at Carlson b-school. Jan/LH- can you get Maturi in for a class?
As Medcalf points out, the university put out a press release every time a new brick was laid at TCF Bank Stadium...it's time to start issuing some press releases about the planned hoops practice facility...perception is reality, and if Tubby gets the feeling progress is being made, he'll be a lot happier.

P.S. That Iverson rant has to go down as one of the top 5 all-time press conference meltdowns. Up there with "Playoffs! Playoffs?!?"
