Ice is almost gone
No snow this March, first time since 1878 that March has gone snowless. Gonna be 75 degrees on Wednesday, FIL invited me to join him for a 12:30 pm tee time. Who can say "no" to that? Who?

RTS - sorry but you know full well the torturous journey that are the Winters/Springs here. No snow for the month of March is pretty remarkable.
As for the ice toll, the numbers aren't out yet. Have to say that it felt like maybe 1 or 2 people this year, very low. I pulled up the historical data shows the last 5 years people have gotten much safer about it, assuming part of that is because of increased public awareness through various media such as t.v., internet, blogs like FTLOSBW, radio.

Yeah...tough to stomach the visual of Jan golfing at Wayzata CC with his FIL. Ouch...my solace is that I got sunburned twice last weekend. Nice...
