Let's just bitch for a second on the Twins v. Yankees
If I had more time and wasn't so angry I would look up which team owns the Twins the most - Yankees? Red Sox? Mariners (feels like it)? We are a fly over state. Why do we shrink against these teams? Yes, they are stacked but c'mon.

Also feels like we always struggle against big-time lefties...I have no stats on this, but I believe, over the last 5 season our collective batting avg. against established left-handed starters is .121... again, I didn't look this up, but this feels about right.

LH - Your guesstimate lined up perfectly with the .121 I arrived at through my non-existent research.

I believe I read somewhere in an imaginary publication that that batting average drops all the way to .067 when isolated for lefties who pitch or have ever in the past pitched for the Yankees or their minor league system, worn a Yankees cap, thrown a pitch in Yankee Stadium or whose agent has ever been contacted by Brian Cashman.
Part of the problem might be that none of our best 4 hitters are righties.

By the way, if you search the archives of this here blog, I believe you'll find a very in-depth statistical analysis of our ineptitude against the yankees...and yes, we have a worse record against them than any other team in MLB. Nice...

BG - post a link to the Yankees numbers you said were on this blog; are we just having the same conversation every year? My God. It's like we're all starting to believe the Vikings could actually be good . . .
Here is a link to a post I made about Scott Baker (I also put the in the Holy Bejebus in case the link below doesn't work). . .
