No, Chester! No!

Hate to bring up that whole "Minnesota Vikings" thing in these parts these days, but word on the street is Chester Taylor's signed a 4-year contract with the Bears. I'd guess he'll have a very good shot at beating out Forte, who was seriously exposed last season. So, not only do we lose our surehanded backup and great screen option, one of the 3 or 4 best second RB's in the league, but we'll have to face him playing for the f'ing Bears.

MCA - He was a great part of that offense and we knew we had a steal with him behind AP but it was a matter of time, right? Sucks assballs that he's gotta go to Chicago but right now the Bears seem to be catching up to the Lions as far as being a "vortex of talent" (I don't see him liking Cutler.)

When the rumors surfaced that he was going to Chicago his "character" was questioned in Rube Nation; apparently he is an ass and has had a couple run-ins at restaurants/bars and was kind of the dinkhead in the locker room. Not sayin' anything, just sayin'.

Yeah, this is a tough loss, but one of those that you have to expect. He is 30 years old, which, as we know, tends to be the age at which RBs hit the proverbial wall. Given that he's been a backup for 3 years, however, I think he still has a couple good seasons in him. SUuuuuuucks that he had to sign with the bears.

He was a great weapon to have. though i think tey will end up using percy even more now. i will miss him. and the fact that he could actually hold onto the ball. But I liked him and i guess i am happy that he will have a chance to be a starting back, as much as i hate that it will be in our division. he played second fiddle about as selflessly as you could ever ask.

Yeah, it's not the leaving so much as the whole Bears thing, and questions about who our change of pace/3rd and long/hold onto the damn football guy is now. I knew he'd be gone at some point. He's got to be one of the best RBs in recent history to have had a starting job for only one season.

I'd never heard of him as a locker room problem. Interesting. Maybe being brought in to finally be a feature guy only to have AP show up and take his job led him to some bitterness.

I could be wrong on this but the Vikings have had Albert Young from Iowa on the practice squad the past two years. I read last year they were pretty high on him. He may be the guy to take Chester's place.

Interesting the he went to the Bears because now their top two backs are smaller quick pass catching backs with out a grinder power runner. Fuck the Bears.
